The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and a deep understanding of ServiceNow applications, integrations, and workflows. This role requires collaboration with stakeholders to develop scalable solutions, maintain the platform, and ensure its security and performance.Responsibilities:ServiceNow Development & Customization:Develop and customize ServiceNow applications and modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, and Knowledge Management.Design and implement workflows, business rules, UI policies, and scripts to automate processes and enhance platform functionality.Integration Management:Create and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST, SOAP, and other API protocols.Stakeholder Collaboration:Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications and implementation plans.Portals, Dashboards & Reporting:Develop and maintain ServiceNow portals, dashboards, and reports to provide actionable insights and improve data visibility for users.Performance, Security & Optimization:Ensure the platform’s performance, security, and scalability through regular monitoring, optimization, and auditing.Documentation & Configuration Management:Maintain thorough documentation of configurations, customizations, integrations, and processes.Upgrade & Patch Management:Implement and manage ServiceNow upgrades, patches, and releases to ensure seamless transitions with minimal disruption.Technical Support & Troubleshooting:Provide technical support, resolving escalated ServiceNow-related issues in a timely and effective manner.Knowledge Development & Best Practices:Stay updated on the latest ServiceNow features, updates, and best practices, applying them to improve the platform.Establish and enforce development standards, guidelines, and best practices across ServiceNow projects.Code Reviews:Conduct regular code reviews to ensure adherence to standards and promote high-quality deliverables.Project Planning & Execution:Participate in planning, scoping, development, testing, and deployment of ServiceNow projects.User Training:Provide training and guidance to end-users and IT staff on the platform’s features and best practices.Process Improvement:Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Required Skills and Qualifications:7+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer with expertise in Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, and Knowledge Management modules.Proficient in designing workflows, writing business rules, and scripting in JavaScript and AngularJS within the ServiceNow platform.Strong knowledge of REST, SOAP, and other web service APIs for system integrations.Experience in developing custom ServiceNow portals, dashboards, and reporting solutions.In-depth understanding of ServiceNow’s upgrade and patch management processes.Proven experience with ITOM, ITSM, and ITIL methodologies.Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and practices.
