Fullstack Developer (Team Lead)

Capte Technologies Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fullstack Developer to join our team as a Team Lead. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers in the design, development, and implementation of various software applications. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in fullstack development, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for creating innovative solutions. Ideal location would be East Coast of the US as you will be leading a team of developers in Europe while establishing and managing a team in the US with some members on the West Coast.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of developers in the design, development, and implementation of software applicationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverablesDevelop and maintain high-quality code using best practices and industry standardsAnalyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues, providing efficient solutionsMentor and coach junior developers, fostering their professional growth and developmentCollaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specificationsStay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies, proactively bringing new ideas and concepts to the team

Requirements

Full-Stack Development and Software Development skills: Javascript, Node.JSBack-End Web Development skills: PHP/LaravelFront-End Development and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) skillsExperience using programming languages such as JavaScript, VUE, and Node.jsExperience with databases such as PostgreSQL and TimeScaleDBExperience with self-hosting on Linux Cloud platformsKnowledge of RESTful API design and developmentGood understanding of micro-services based on Kafka, Redis, TimescaleDB over PostgreSQLMonitoring using GrafanaTeam player: anything is up for discussion, after discussion you make sure we execute what we discussed!A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related fieldExperience working on IoT projects or within the transportation industry is a plus
