Lead React Developer (Remote)

Cognizant’s Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Lead React Developer with experience developing and building high-performing, scalable, enterprise applications. Responsibilities

Manage UI application development, guide developers and perform code reviews.Craft overall architecture and at components’ levels (frontend), including APIs, and integration with other systems using React.Build dynamic and responsive web applications.Install and configure server environments for React deployments.Ensure high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency.Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.Continuously review and improve UI design and development process.

Qualifications

Hands-on Lead Developer with strong experience with React.Strong understanding of web technology (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, web APIs)Understanding of principles of progressive improvement, responsive design, mobile-first developmentExperience with Typescript and Monorepo architecturesExperience with TDD/BDDKnowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token, oAuth2.0Good knowledge and experience with hybrid mobile development with Ionic or React NativeStrong experience in modularity and re-usabilityAzure Cloud Experience + Azure DevOpsGood communication skills.

Salary And Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $87K – $142K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
