Senior PHP Developer

Job Overview:We are seeking a highly experienced Senior PHP Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining robust web applications, leading technical discussions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You should have a strong background in PHP development, experience with modern frameworks, and the ability to guide and mentor junior developers.

Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain web applications using PHP, MySQL, and related technologies.Work with modern PHP frameworks like Laravel or Symfony to build scalable applications.Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.Troubleshoot, test, and maintain software to ensure functionality, performance, and security.Design and implement new features and improve existing functionality.Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including planning, coding, testing, and deployment.Mentor and support junior developers, providing technical guidance and sharing best practices.Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:Proven experience (5+ years) as a PHP Developer or similar role.Strong proficiency in PHP and deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).Expertise in working with frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.Solid understanding of front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design.Experience with database design and management (MySQL, PostgreSQL).Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN).Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for writing clean, maintainable code.Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of RESTful APIs, web services, and microservices architecture is a plus.Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a bonus.
