Role Overview:We're seeking a Front-end Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to our web application and adjacent technologies. A Full Stack Software Engineer with a front-end focus would also be a great candidate for this position.

Key Responsibilities:Work closely with founders and lead developers to design, develop, and maintain web-based software applications.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize work.Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.Test, troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.

Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.Experience with TypeScript or similar language: 2 years.Experience with web design and UI/UX: 2 years.

Preferred Qualifications:3-5 years experience in requirements above.Works well with a team and independently.Experience with React.Experience with GIS and mapping systems.Experience with web design, responsive design, component-based design, UI/UX, styling with CSS or Tailwind, and component libraries like DaisyUI.Experience with front end testing methodologies and tools. E.g. Cypress & Vitest.Experience with web security best practices.Comfortable working with AWS or similar cloud providers.Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment using 1 or 2 week iterative development sprints.

Location:Our team operates fully remotely, with a preference for candidates located in or near the Central Time Zone to align with our core working hours.
