The Web Developer plays a crucial role in designing, coding, and modifying websites, from layout to function, according to a client's specifications. The Web Developer will strive to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation.

Designing webpage layoutWriting well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practicesIntegrating data from various back-end services and databasesGathering and refining specifications and requirements based on technical needsCreating and maintaining software documentationCooperating with web designers to match visual design intentInvestigating and resolving problemsStaying abreast of industry trends and technologiesDeveloping and maintaining system configuration and operations manualsPreparing and maintaining design and code documentsEnsuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phonesEnsuring responsiveness of applicationsMeeting both technical and consumer needsStaying abreast of key developmentsFixing bugs

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fieldProven work experience as a Web Developer or similar roleProficiency with various programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHPFamiliarity with front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, HTML, and CSS)Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficientlyKnowledge of mobile and responsive designUnderstanding of security principles and how they apply to E-Commerce applicationsStrong problem solving skills and attention to detailExcellent organizational, project management and communication skillsExperience with graphic design applications such as Adobe Illustrator and PhotoshopAbility to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniquesKnowledge of SEO principlesExperience with content management systems and e-commerce platformsStrong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standardsGood understanding of website architecture and aesthetics
