Job Title: Experienced Odoo SaaS Developer
Experience Required: 6-8 years
Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Odoo SaaS Developer to join our team in the role of Associate Product Manager. The ideal candidate will have significant expertise in managing the Odoo SaaS platform, particularly version 14, and will be skilled in handling customer databases and SaaS servers. This role requires a proactive leader who can drive product management initiatives, ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication, and oversee project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Onboarding:
Collect necessary documents and information from customers to set up their online store.Schedule and conduct onboarding meetings with customers.Perform backend configurations including product uploads, shipping settings, payment integrations, and basic website design adjustments in collaboration with a graphic designer.Maintain customer data and onboarding status on Google Drive.Handle email correspondence and send meeting minutes to customers.Conduct thorough testing and ensure a smooth platform handover.Provide training to customers to ensure they are proficient in using their new online store.
Odoo Server Management:
Oversee and optimize SaaS servers across platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean, Hostinger, on-premise, etc.) in coordination with our IT & Infrastructure team.Manage Nginx/Apache configurations and plan server upgrades with cost analysis.Conduct domain and subdomain mapping, configure DNS settings, and manage SSL certificates.Implement and oversee customer database backup solutions and ensure robust security.Provide rapid recovery solutions for database crashes with no data loss.Manage GitHub repositories and maintain staging/live server environments for peak performance.Facilitate upgrades and manage daily visitor traffic and concurrent API requests.
Odoo Application Management:
Optimize database performance to ensure load-free and bug-free applications.Develop and maintain a regular maintenance checklist and manage concurrent user logins.Oversee multiple customer accounts within e-commerce databases and develop custom modules.Set up e-commerce websites for new customers and act as a liaison between the development team and management.Drive product innovation based on market trends and customer feedback.
Requirements:
Proven experience managing Odoo SaaS servers and infrastructure, including server load balancing and database performance optimization.Proactive approach with a focus on long-term server stability and high traffic management.Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop custom modules and handle client customizations.Strong knowledge of frontend and backend development, including e-commerce website setup.Proven track record in product management with strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.Experience in mentoring team members and fostering a collaborative environment.
Desired Skills:
Experience with Odoo 14 SaaS and server environments such as AWS.Strong knowledge of Nginx, Apache, DNS configuration, SSL management, and domain mapping.Proficiency in Python, HTML/CSS/Bootstrap/jQuery/JavaScript, and familiarity with Ubuntu/Linux systems.Expertise in PSQL database management, API integrations with payment, shipping providers and third parties, and UI/UX development.Experience in Odoo mobile app development is a plus.If you are a driven professional passionate about managing and optimizing Odoo SaaS environments and leading product initiatives, please send your CV to solution@mepemart.com
