Senior Shopify Developer

Job Summary:We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Shopify Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and customizing Shopify e-commerce solutions, with a deep understanding of Shopify themes, apps, and best practices. Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain custom Shopify themes and applications that align with business goals and user needs.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and marketers, to create robust e-commerce solutions.Ensure website performance, scalability, and security by implementing best practices and regular code reviews.Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the Shopify platform, user interfaces, and integrations with third-party services.Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in web development and e-commerce, particularly within the Shopify ecosystem.Optimize existing Shopify stores for improved performance, conversion rates, and user experience.Maintain accurate documentation of development processes, code, and technical specifications.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).5+ years of experience in web development, with at least 3 years specifically focused on Shopify development.Proficient in Shopify Liquid templating language, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.Experience with Shopify APIs and integration with third-party applications.Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.Strong understanding of front-end development principles and best practices for responsive design.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Shopify Plus and advanced e-commerce features.Knowledge of SEO best practices as they relate to e-commerce.Familiarity with performance optimization techniques, including caching and minification.
