Creative Engineers/Developer will be responsible for picking up and completing various development tasks that require the building of new, unique frameworks, follow development best practices, and implementing feed solutions (as needed). This role works hand in hand with Creative Producers and Client Success to scope, manage, and support client projects.

This Creative Developer should have creative development experience specifically within the media and advertising space. Ideal candidates have a strong understanding of the digital advertising landscape with an emphasis on dynamic creative (display and video).

This position will also support more senior team members on support issues including troubleshooting, and issue resolution for the wider creative services team. This role will also be trained to perform technical producers’ functions and step in where necessary coordinating with Producers for the technical aspects of build requirements and feed requests.

What You Will Do

Creative resource for troubleshooting and creative developmentCreative project point of contact for development and creative solutions: Client facing scoping assistance and on-going project managementDocumentation of framework Issue investigation and resolution Day-to-day interaction with partner resources where technical/development solutions are requiredIngest, review, and confirm development tasks for:Sufficient Instructions and documentationAdequate resources (imagery, video, fonts, layered assets)Sufficient time to executeComplete development of or modification of dynamic creative at all levels and frameworks as required by task detailsFunctional QA and code review of self or junior creative engineer’sVersion dynamic creative through CRM / Excel methods including the use of inline styles to adjust layouts where necessarySupport Creative and Solutions Engineering teams on proof of concept or app building to support wider project initiativesProvide creative ticket support on minor to moderate issues requiring escalation and investigation as necessary

Who You Are

Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with internal and external teamsExcellent written and verbal communicationStrong knowledge of campaign lifecycle from inception to trafficking of creative and live tagsGeneral understanding of ad serving technologies and how dynamic creative can be used General understanding of dynamic, and feeds-based creative solutions and build process Experience in mobile web design / mobile advertising or rich media productionGeneral understanding of feeds and API structuresExperience with Adobe Creative Suite and AfterEffectsFull knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS including ES6 practices and data parsing Ability to translate client requirements and expectations into actionable items for designer and developersHigh attention to detailExperienced in timeline management and task managementRisk identification and management throughout projectsExcellent problem-solving skills using available coding and ad serving environment solutions to resolve challengesAbility to call out technical constraints and limitations as they apply to delivering in digital web/video/social mediumsBA/BS in Computer Science, Design, Digital Art or other relevant major OR 3 or more years of direct, non-internship experience in the advertising industry working as a creative developer/engineerExperience with Flashtalking creative tools or ad server (nice to have)Experience using Figma or Google Web Designer (nice to have)

$85,000 - $105,000 a year
