We urgently seek a contracted collaboration with a proactive, efficient, communicative, and highly organized Full Stack Web Developer with a strong understanding of JavaScript (Vanilla and React), Core PHP, and API Integrations with a minimum of 5 years of experience conducting active development of software projects in an agency environment.

It would be best if you are a self-reliant, dedicated, and responsible individual with a leadership mindset and a second-to-none understanding of OOP practices, as well as having an excellent understanding of core languages (JS, PHP) as a priority, as opposed to working on frameworks first.

Please do not apply if you don't have at least 5 years of direct experience with back-end and front-end development on agency and client projects. Applicants with less experience or experience only working with JS but not with PHP (and vice-versa) will be automatically rejected.

Important to Know

Excellent written and oral knowledge of the English language is requiredAs a Full Stack Engineer, you will be expected to handle both Back-End (PHP) and Front-End (React, HTML5/CSS3) tasks.You will be added to an active project immediately - based on your experience we expect that you'll take the grasp of the project quickly.We do not micromanage but expect that you need to be proactive and actively engaging with all aspects of front-end and back-end development - this is a high-profile, demanding, and engaging position that does not allow for idle time.Please do not expect that you will be conducting development on just one project - we expect full responsibility for your work on your end and to understand (and deep-dive into) other projects with your colleagues and take over when requested.As an OmniStreak Engineer, you are expected to scope your own tasks and projects and provide viable solutions.You and you alone will be responsible for your output and results.

Qualifications

At least 5 years of experience working remotely with mid to large-scale websites and web appsPortfolio of active (online) projects that you were involved in at the agency or client levelStrong understanding of and practical experience of core (vanilla) JavascriptStrong understanding of and practical experience of core (vanilla) PHPExcellent understanding of and practical experience working with SQL databasesAbility to work remotely and responsibly without active oversightExcellent written and spoken English (business level)Practical experience working with API IntegrationsExcellent understanding of Git/code versioning practicesExcellent OOP understandingGood understanding of AWS infrastructure

Our Process

You will be meeting with OmniStreak's Operations Manager as an initial call with the whole process outlined as follows (only candidates that we deem applicable will be moved to the next step):

Meeting with our Project Managers and Technical LeadReceive an offer for a fixed, compensated 5 to 10-day test period (test/fit period)If you qualify, you will receive a new contract for a 1-month period after which we'll proceed with extensions depending on your performance.
