Job Summary

We are looking for a Sr. Android Developer to join our Mobile Development Team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Android development, including publishing apps to the app store and leading cross-functional teams. This role will involve designing and building advanced applications for the Android platform, analyzing and implementing complex change requests, and providing ongoing support for our mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design and Build Advanced Applications: Develop and maintain high-quality applications for the Android platform, ensuring they meet performance and design standards.Analyze and Classify Complex Change Requests: Review and evaluate change requests, suggesting enhancements to improve application functionality and user experience.Analyze Business and Technical Requirements: Evaluate detailed business and technical requirements, troubleshoot systems, and recommend new technologies to enhance development efficiency.Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with various teams to define, design, and implement new features, driving projects to successful completion.Act as a Resource for Mobile App Developers: Provide guidance and support to other developers, sharing knowledge and best practices to improve overall team performance.

Requirements

Education: BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Experience: At least 5 years of experience in software development with proven experience in Android development.Skills: Experience working with Android frameworks and the ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Certifications: None required.Other: Must have published one or more Android apps in the applicable app store and be able to adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with various Android frameworks and a track record of successful app releases.
