As a rapidly growing RegTech company, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our talented technology team.

We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer with extensive experience in .NET 8 development, MSSQL, and PostgreSQL databases. As a backend developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance server-side applications that power our platform. You will play a key role in enhancing our AI-powered platform and building robust, scalable backend solutions to support our compliance services.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend applications using .NET 8. Optimize and manage backend database systems, including MSSQL and PostgreSQL, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance. Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between different components of our platform. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality backend services. Implement backend software best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, and testing. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend services to improve performance, scalability, and functionality. Lead and mentor junior developers, providing guidance on backend development techniques and best practices. Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to decision-making processes to improve the scalability and reliability of our backend infrastructure. Stay current with emerging backend technologies and frameworks, providing recommendations to improve development processes and architecture.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. 5+ years of experience in backend software development using .NET (experience with .NET 8 is a must). Strong experience with MSSQL and PostgreSQL, including writing complex queries, optimizing performance, and database administration. Proficiency in RESTful API design and development. Experience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Solid understanding of backend development best practices, software development life cycle (SDLC), agile methodologies, and DevOps practices. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their backend database services. Knowledge of front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Vue.js) and experience with full-stack development is a plus. Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts and their integration into backend enterprise software solutions. Experience with version control systems such as Git and CI/CD tools.
