PowerShell developer

We are seeking an experienced PowerShell Developer to join our dynamic team. As a PowerShell Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation solutions using PowerShell scripts. You will play a crucial role in automating system administration tasks, improving workflows, and optimizing our infrastructure.This position requires a candidate with a strong scripting background, expertise in PowerShell, and a passion for automation and problem-solving.Key Responsibilities:Develop, test, and maintain advanced PowerShell scripts for automation, configuration, and management tasks.Collaborate with system administrators, DevOps engineers, and IT teams to design automation solutions.Integrate PowerShell scripts with various platforms such as Windows Server, Azure, Active Directory, and cloud infrastructure.Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with PowerShell scripts and automation tools.Improve existing PowerShell scripts to enhance performance, reliability, and maintainability.Document all processes, scripts, and configurations to ensure knowledge sharing and operational transparency.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers on PowerShell best practices.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement infrastructure as code (IaC) initiatives.Required Skills & Qualifications:5+ years of hands-on experience developing PowerShell scripts for automation.In-depth knowledge of PowerShell, including functions, modules, and cmdlets.Experience with Windows Server administration, including Active Directory, GPOs, and system configurations.Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and their PowerShell integration.Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.Experience with Version Control Systems (e.g., Git) for managing scripts and code.Ability to work with REST APIs and integrate them into PowerShell scripts.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document processes clearly.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with other scripting languages such as Python or Bash.Knowledge of DevOps tools like Jenkins, Terraform, or Ansible.Familiarity with Linux operating systems and cross-platform automation.Microsoft certifications such as MCSA or MCSE are a plus.
