We are seeking a talented and experienced Financial Transaction Manager (FTM) Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and maintaining FTM applications, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance within our payment systems.

Position Summary:The FTM Consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Financial Transaction Manager (FTM) applications. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that our payment systems are robust, scalable, and secure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in FTM development, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:Application Development:Design, develop, and implement FTM applications to support the company's payment processing needs.Ensure that FTM solutions are scalable, reliable, and secure.

Integration:Integrate FTM applications with various payment processing platforms and third-party systems.Collaborate with other developers and system architects to ensure seamless integration and interoperability.

Maintenance and Support:Provide ongoing maintenance and support for FTM applications, addressing any issues or bugs that arise.Perform regular system updates and patches to ensure optimal performance and security.

Testing and Quality Assurance:Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of FTM applications.Work closely with QA teams to identify and resolve defects and performance issues.

Documentation:Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for FTM applications, including design specifications, user guides, and support manuals.

Continuous Improvement:Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in FTM development.Provide feedback and recommendations for improving the development process and overall product quality.

Qualifications:Education:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:Minimum of 3 years of experience in FTM development or a similar role in financial technology.Proven experience with IBM Financial Transaction Manager (FTM) and related technologies.

Technical Skills:Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or similar.Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems.Experience with payment processing protocols and standards (e.g., ISO 20022, SWIFT).

Soft Skills:Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Certifications:Relevant certifications (e.g., IBM Certified Solution Developer – FTM) are a plus.
