Front-end Developer and UI/UX Designer

Euphyia Tech Ltd., a spin-off of Frederick University, is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Front-end Developer and UI/UX Designer. The successful candidate will work on design projects related to creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for our tools and solutions aimed at the assessment of buildings sustainability. The successful candidate will be actively involved in the implementation of user-centered design principles. QualificationsWe are seeking candidates with a relevant background in front-end development, and UI/UX design, graphic design, or related fields. The ideal candidates should have excellent coding skills in front-end development tools, as well as a strong portfolio that demonstrates proficiency in design tools, user interface design, and a thorough understanding of user-centered design principles. Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification and be citizens of the EU. Key qualifications include:Experience using front-end development libraries and frameworks like Bootstrap, Sass, React, Tailwind CSS, Next.js, TypeScript etc.Excellent knowledge of vanilla HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Proficiency with Wireframing Tools: Experience using wireframing tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or other Adobe software.Understanding of Visual Design Principles: Solid knowledge of typography, color theory, and layout design.Creation of Site Maps and Navigation Systems: Ability to create effective site maps and navigation systems, adhering to best practices for website navigation.Design of Intuitive and Engaging Interfaces: Skill in designing interfaces that minimize user effort and enhance ease of navigation and site functionality.Design of Accessible Interfaces: Knowledge of designing interfaces that comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).

ResponsibilitiesThe selected candidate will be responsible for designing user interfaces for web and mobile applications focused on building sustainability assessment. They will also work on user experience research, creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to propose and implement new design ideas and collaborate with other members of the design and development teams.

BenefitsThe successful candidate will be offered an annual gross salary between 25,000 and 35,000 €, commensurate with their experience. In addition, the successful candidate will have the flexibility to work remotely.
