Grafana Developer

Location:- Remote Experience: 6+ years

About the Role:We are seeking a skilled Grafana Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing, configuring, and maintaining Grafana dashboards. You will be responsible for integrating Grafana with various data sources, ensuring optimal performance, and enabling insightful visualizations for our team and clients.Key Responsibilities:* Dashboard Development: Design, build, and maintain Grafana dashboards to visualize keymetrics and data from various sources.* Data Source Integration: Connect Grafana with multiple data sources such as Prometheus, InfluxDB, Elasticsearch, etc.* Monitoring and Alerts: Set up and manage alerts to proactively identify and resolve issues.* Performance Optimization: Ensure dashboards are optimized for performance, includingefficient query writing and data retrieval.* Collaboration: Work closely with DevOps, Development, and Data Engineering teams to understand data visualization requirements.* Documentation: Maintain documentation for dashboard configurations, best practices, and troubleshooting guides.* Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to data accuracy, dashboard performance, and system integration.* Security: Implement security best practices within Grafana, including user access controls and data protection. Required Skills and Qualifications:* Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience working with Grafana.* Technical Expertise:o Strong proficiency in developing Grafana dashboards.o Experience with data source integrations (Prometheus, InfluxDB, Elasticsearch, etc.). o Knowledge of SQL and PromQL (Prometheus Query Language).o Understanding of time-series databases.* Monitoring Tools: Familiarity with other monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Kibana).* Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.* Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.* Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail in visualizations.Preferred Qualifications:* Certifications: Relevant certifications in Grafana, Prometheus, or related technologies.* Scripting: Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation.* Cloud Experience: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and monitoring services.* DevOps Knowledge: Understanding of DevOps practices and infrastructure monitoring.
