Job Title: ServiceNow SecOps Consultant (Vulnerability Management)Location: RemoteExperience : 8+ years of experience in software development and 7+ years in ServiceNow SecOpsJob Summary:We are seeking a ServiceNow SecOps Consultant with a strong emphasis on Vulnerability Management to join our team. This role involves implementing, configuring, and optimizing ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps) solutions, focusing on managing and remediating security vulnerabilities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform in the security domain and a solid understanding of vulnerability management.Key Responsibilities:ServiceNow Vulnerability Management Implementation:Design, configure, and implement the ServiceNow Vulnerability Response module to manage and remediate security vulnerabilities.Develop and customize workflows, business rules, and dashboards to enhance vulnerability management processes.Consultation and Advisory:Provide expert guidance on best practices for ServiceNow Vulnerability Response and overall SecOps solutions.Collaborate with security teams and stakeholders to understand vulnerability management needs and translate them into ServiceNow configurations.Integration and Development:Integrate ServiceNow Vulnerability Response with security tools such as vulnerability scanners and threat intelligence platforms.Develop custom scripts, applications, and integrations to improve the effectiveness of vulnerability management processes.Performance Monitoring and Optimization:Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to ServiceNow Vulnerability Response and other SecOps modules.Continuously optimize workflows and processes for increased efficiency and accuracy.Documentation and Training:Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, customizations, and workflows related to vulnerability management.Provide training and support to end-users and security teams on ServiceNow Vulnerability Response features.Project Management:Lead or participate in projects related to deploying and optimizing ServiceNow Vulnerability Response solutions.Ensure timely project delivery, within scope, and adhering to quality standards.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.Proven experience with ServiceNow Vulnerability Response, including implementation, configuration, and optimization.Strong understanding of vulnerability management processes, including assessment, remediation, and reporting.Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Glide Script) and experience with ServiceNow development practices.Experience integrating ServiceNow with vulnerability scanning tools and other security platforms.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively under pressure.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.Preferred Qualifications:ServiceNow certifications, such as Certified Implementation Specialist – Vulnerability Response or Certified Application Developer.Experience with ServiceNow Security Incident Response and Threat Intelligence modules.Knowledge of ITIL processes related to security operations and vulnerability management.
