Job Overview: We are seeking a self-motivated and experienced Back-End and Data Analytics Developer who can work independently and solve complex problems while maintaining a strong sense of responsibility and ownership over the product. You will maintain and extend our cloud- based data analytics system, working closely with customers to ensure service levels are maintained and new features are implemented based on their needs. This role requires not only technical expertise in Azure, Databricks, Power BI, and automation tools, but also the ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. As part of the team, you’ll be responsible for helping evolve our platform, applying DevOps practices, and driving the integration of AI, ML, and LLM applications into the system.
Key Responsibilities: - Maintain and Extend Cloud-Based Infrastructure - API and Data Integration - Extend and Re-Engineer the Platform - Develop AI/ML and LLM Applications - Business Intelligence and Reporting - Collaborate Closely with Customers - Monitoring and Incident Management
Required Key Skills: - Azure Cloud: Expertise with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Blob Storage, Data Lakes, Azure Automation, Logic Apps, and Azure security practices. - Data Engineering: Strong experience with ETL processes, building and managing data pipelines in Databricks. - Business Intelligence: Proficiency in Power BI for report creation, automation, and DAX for data modeling and visualization. - Automation and Integration: Experience in using automation tools like Zapier, Azure Automation, and Azure Logic Apps. - Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Experience with Azure Monitor, Databricks logs, and tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK Stack for troubleshooting and monitoring workflows. - Security: Solid understanding of role-based access (RBAC), encryption, and ensuring compliance with industry security standards. - Communication and Teamwork: Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Persistence and Problem-Solving: Strong sense of ownership and responsibility, able to independently chase down hard problems and implement solutions.
Additional Desired Skills: - Open-Source Technology Stack: Experience with open-source databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL, and back-end development using Python (Pandas, FastAPI, etc.). - DevOps & Infrastructure-as-Code: Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC tools for managing cloud resources. - AI/ML and LLM: Experience or strong interest in working with AI, Machine Learning, and Large Language Models (LLMs) to power data-driven insights and applications. - Monitoring & Incident Response: Experience setting up alerting systems like PagerDuty for on-call incident management.
