Job OverviewRL Canning is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our Managed Services team. As the Senior ServiceNow Developer, you will own the development tasks and integrations of the corporate ServiceNow instances. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in ITSM & ITOM technologies. Client meetings provide a great opportunity to demonstrate your deep platform experience in translating business processes into ServiceNow configurations.
In this role, you willResponsible for day-to-day platform enhancements within a domain-separated, multi-tenant environment with emphasis on the following modules:
(ITSM) IT Services ManagementService Operations WorkspaceEmployee Center
(ITOM) IT Operations ManagementService GraphDiscovery, Visibility, Health

Our approach ensures a consistent, stable instance for our developers while positioning our service offering for rapid deployment.System integration experience using web services and other web-based technologies such as XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, REST/SOAP.Daily participation in Scrum stand-ups to provide a status on user stories.Maintain instances to be within the current release and not to exceed N – 1.Organized and analytical, adept at working in a team environment, able to implement on time to a project schedule, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.Participate in Release Planning to iterate towards delivering ServiceNow products.Remain current with ServiceNow certifications.Provide orientation to 3rd party contractors in non-production environments, provide consultative oversight as needed, and participate in ATF / UAT before promoting code to production environments.And other responsibilities.
For this role, you will need6+ years of related experience in ServiceNow, programming JavaScript, configuring complex integrations, and configuring Service Portals.ServiceNow Application Developer Certification, with current delta.ServiceNow Certified Systems Administration, with current delta.Experience with Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, Client Scripts, UI Pages, UI Macros.Experience with ServiceNow client and server-side JavaScript and the ServiceNow APIs, including Integration Hub and Spokes.Scripted web services, AJAX, Business Rules, JavaScript, SOAP, REST SSO-SAML Setup to facilitate the integration of ServiceNow to 3rd party applications.Domain separation with multi-tenancy is preferred.Experience presenting and conducting demonstrations with client stakeholders. OftenTeam player with excellent troubleshooting skills and with ability to demonstrate influence in a consultative fashion to internal and client stakeholders.Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, or related discipline preferred.Must be willing to travel.
