Senior PowerBI Developer

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team-player. You will be a lead developer responsible for the development of new software products and enhancements to existing products. You should excel in working with large-scale applications and frameworks and have outstanding communication and leadership skills. RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Requirement Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translatethem into technical specifications.2. Data Modeling: Design and develop efficient data models using Power BI, ensuring data integrity andperformance optimization.3. Report Development: Create, deploy, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards that meet business needsand provide actionable insights.4. Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources (e.g., SQL databases, Excel, cloud services) into PowerBI, ensuring seamless data flow and accuracy.5. Dashboard Design: Develop visually appealing and user-friendly dashboards that effectively communicatecomplex data insights.6. Data Visualization: Implement advanced data visualization techniques to highlight key trends, patterns, andoutliers.7. Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of Power BI reports anddashboards to ensure quick loading times and responsiveness.8. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business users, analysts, and other stakeholders to gather feedbackand make necessary improvements to reports and dashboards.9. Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power BI reports, data sources, and data models.10. Innovation: Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the BI reporting landscape.11. Security and Governance: Ensure compliance with data governance policies and implement appropriatesecurity measures to protect sensitive data.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Five-year college degree in Computer Science or equivalent2. 5+ Years of experience developing Power BI reports, DAX in Power BI desktop and Service3. 5+ Years of experience developing in M language (Power Query Code)4. 5+ Years of technical background in analytical and BI roles5. Strong SQL skills and experience with data warehousing concepts6. Excellent data visualization and design skills7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities8. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills9. Ability to work independently and to work and connect with a wide variety of teams10. Must be fully fluent in English and Spanish
