Content Management System Developer

We’re looking for a Software Engineer who is an expert in Content Management Systems with specific experience Architecting large scale Django/Wagtail CMS web properties.

We currently have a large scale project underway and need a contractor with the above experience to join on a long term basis.

This is high level Sr. Level work and includes both architecture and hands-on development. The contract is expected to include 40 hours per week and the timeline is currently open ended.

Responsibilities:Work in a team environment to architect and develop a large scale Content Management System for a government municipalityCollaborate with stakeholders both internal and external to understand business requirements and translate to solutions.Design and implement scalable architecture

Qualifications:Minimum 10+ years of Software DevelopmentExpertise in a Django / Wagtail CMS (Python)Expertise in architecture and designExperience working in other content management systems such as Drupal or Wordpress are a plus!Experience working in as a contractor in a Development AgencyExperience working on large scale marketing web properties and eCommerce propertiesThe ability to quickly get up to speed and contribute immediately to the projectExcellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders. Ideally you have prior client facing experience.

Compensation:This is high level senior position working on contract in an development agency environment. This is a long term contract an hourly rate of up to $100 per hour paid on a C2C or 1099 basis.
