Magento Backend Developer, Middle (US time zone)

As a Backend Developer at VAIMO, you design, develop and implement advanced eCommerce solutions for our clients. You are involved in the development of both client-specific and generic modules for Magento and system integrations between Magento and various ERPs, PIM solutions, PSP, etc. You also participate in the development of our tools and frameworks designed to maintain a large number of customer installations.

As a developer, you are persistent and dedicated to delivering the best solutions possible. You like to plan and analyze, and your decisions characterized by robustness, generality, and reusability. You are a team player, able to effectively collaborate with other team members, clients, and partners. You don’t mind traveling from time to time to meet with other team members or clients.

Plan, Develop, Test and Document advanced eСommerce solutions for our clientsDevelop customer-specific and generic Magento modulesDevelop integrations between Magento and different 3rd Party systemsYou will have the possibility to improve our CI/CD platform which supports a large number of our clientsRegularly attend internal training courses to maintain required skillsetDevelop solid solutions that are generic and reusable

Readiness to work full time in US time zone (working day starts at 6 pm Kyiv time) is a mustExperienced in the full software development cycle, from planning to deploymentHands-on Magento 2 experienceExperienced in the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache/Nginx, MySQL, PHP8)Experienced in OOP, knowledge of design patternsExperience in the Web Server stack is highly beneficial: Apache, HAProxy, Varnish, Redis, Ubuntu ServerUpper-Intermediate English, both verbal and writtenFlexibility to adjust to new processesCapable of estimating/forecasting time to complete specified project tasksExperience working with SSR and modern frontend frameworks like React, Next.js
