Role Description

This is an internship hybrid role for a Frontend Developer Intern at Ace AI. The Frontend Developer Intern will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining user interfaces for our AI/ML platform. The role involves building responsive, user-friendly web applications, collaborating closely with designers and backend developers to implement new features, and ensuring an optimal user experience.

Responsibilities include:Designing and implementing new user-facing featuresBuilding reusable code and libraries for future useEnsuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designsOptimizing applications for maximum speed and scalabilityCollaborating with team members and stakeholders to improve usability

The role is based in the San Francisco Bay Area with flexibility for some remote work.

Qualifications

Strong understanding of frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScriptExperience with modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, or Next.jsProficiency in integrating frontend interfaces with backend APIsFamiliarity with version control systems like GitUnderstanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principlesKnowledge of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility issuesExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or currently enrolled)
