Data Developer

On behalf of our client, Procom is seeking FOUR Data Developers for 15 month contracts working remotely for our client in Edmonton.

Data Developer Responsibilities

Collaborate with teams and data and systems analysts to understand their data requirements and translate them into scalable and robust data solutions Design data models Design integration processes to acquire, transform and store investment related data from various sources and have a strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases Perform data analysis, data validation and data cleansing to ensure data accuracy and integrity

Data Developer Mandatory Skills

3-5 years of experience in a similar role within an enterprise environment 7 years of solid experience developing ETL processes, data engineering, database development and data integration 3 years of experience working with big data technologies, including data lakes and data warehouses with knowledge of the underlying architecture Minimum of 5 years of experience using Python and SQL programming languages Hands on experience in Aure Data lake, Azure Data Factory, Databricks (and DBT – Optional) 2 years of experience with agile software development including the use of DevOps tools such as Jira and Asure DevOps ( ADO)
