Azure APIM Developer

We are seeking an experienced Azure API Management (APIM) Developer to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have strong application integration skills and extensive experience with Azure APIM.

Job Details:- Contract Duration: 6+ months- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 2 PM to 11 PM IST- Work Location: Remote (Work from Home)

Key Responsibilities:- Design, implement, and maintain API integrations using Azure API Management- Set up and manage Azure APIM infrastructure- Implement and maintain security measures for API management- Handle high-volume API traffic and ensure optimal performance- Set up and manage test environments for API development and integration- Work with various data formats in API integrations- Implement both synchronous and asynchronous API communication patterns- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth API integrations- Troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues- Stay updated with the latest Azure APIM features and best practices

Required Qualifications:- 8+ years of experience in software development, with significant focus on Azure APIM- Proven experience as an Azure APIM Developer or similar role- Strong knowledge of Azure API Management and related Azure services- Experience in setting up and managing Azure APIM infrastructure- Proficiency in implementing API security measures- Experience in handling high-volume API traffic- Familiarity with setting up and managing test environments- Strong understanding of various data formats (JSON, XML, etc.)- Experience with both synchronous and asynchronous API implementations- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team

Preferred Qualifications:- Graduate - Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Developer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect)- Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) is a plus- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
