Job Role- Ruby on Rails DeveloperJob Type- ContractDuration- 6 monthsWork Mode-RemoteNo. of Hours- 8 hrs per day (9:30 AM to 6:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby on Rails code. Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications. Mentor and guide junior developers in best practices and coding standards. Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applicationsremain current and competitive. Develop and implement automated tests to ensure the quality of the codebase.Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5 to 10 years of professional experience in software development with a strong focus onRuby on Rails. Proven experience in designing and developing high-traffic, large-scale web applications. knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworkslike React or Angular. Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar. Familiarity with code versioning tools, such as Git. Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of ateam. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Good to have Skills:

 Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure. Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
