Frontend Developer

Stellar Minore is a company that serves as a product team for hire. We work with organizations as their technology partner to make their minor stars glow brighter.

We are looking for a Front-end developer to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for building ‘client-side’ for various different projects that we are working on. If you write sophisticated clean code and love creating user-friendly flows while learning a lot to progress in your career, then this job is for you. We expect you to be a tech-savvy professional, who is curious about new digital technologies and aspires to combine usability with visual design.

This is a remote position for the foreseeable future but you are expected to stick to company hours. We work in a very fast paced environment so you have to be ready to learn fast and move fast to succeed.

ResponsibilitiesUse markup languages like HTML to create user-friendly web pagesMaintain and improve websiteOptimize applications for maximum speedCollaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usabilityGet feedback from, and build solutions for, users and customersWrite functional requirement documents and guidesEnsure high quality graphic standards and brand consistencyStay up-to-date on emerging technologies

RequirementsProven work experience as a Front-end developerHands on experience with markup languagesExperience with JavaScript, CSS and jQueryKnowledge of code versioning using GitMust be familiar with RESTful APIs to connect web app to back-end servicesFamiliarity with browser testing and debuggingUnderstanding of layout aestheticsAn ability to perform well in a fast-paced environmentExcellent analytical and multitasking skillsBSc degree in Computer Science or relevant fieldKnowledge of SEO principles is a plusKnowledge/experience working in React is a major plus
