Senior Blockchain Developer

Location: Remote with preferable working hours in UK time zone.

With a global presence and a commitment to excellence, we're seeking a talented Senior Blockchain preferably in a Technical Lead role, to spearhead our projects and lead our team to new heights.

Role Overview: We are seeking a Senior Blockchain Developer with deep expertise in blockchain technology, particularly in handling blockchain transactions, managing validators, and building bridges to Binance Smart Chain and Ethereum. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with GoLang, Cosmos SDK, and EVM, and a strong understanding of blockchain consensus mechanisms. This role requires a forward-thinking professional who can lead projects, mentor junior developers, and contribute to our blockchain strategy.

Key Responsibilities:Lead the design and implementation of blockchain architecture and smart contracts.Design, develop, and optimize blockchain protocols and smart contracts using GoLang, Cosmos SDK, and EVM.Manage and maintain blockchain validators, ensuring network security, performance, and scalability.Develop and implement bridges between our Layer 1 blockchain and other ecosystems such as Binance Smart Chain and Ethereum.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate blockchain solutions with existing systems and applications.Conduct code reviews and ensure best practices in development.Monitor blockchain network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.Stay updated with the latest developments in blockchain technology and identify opportunities for innovation within the company.Work closely with the DevOps team to automate and streamline blockchain operations.Assist in the deployment and management of blockchain nodes in a cloud environment.

Required Qualifications:Proven 5+ years of experience in blockchain development with a strong focus on Layer 1 protocols.Proficiency in Go, JavaScript (Node), and Solidity, with hands-on experience using Cosmos SDK and EVM.Experience in managing validators and handling blockchain transactions.Strong understanding of blockchain consensus mechanisms and cryptography.Experience in developing and maintaining bridges between different blockchain networks.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience in a technical lead or architect role.Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.Experience in NodeJS / NestJS for backend development and Flutter for mobile application development.
