Frontend Developer (React, Tone.js, Web Audio Development)

Rilium Learning is seeking a Frontend Developer specialized in web audio to help build our React-based interactive arts education tools, specifically focused on Tone.js and Web Audio API development.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with our development team to build and enhance React-based audio tools for the Rilium Studio platform.Develop, maintain, and optimize interactive features using Tone.js and the Web Audio API.Translate UI/UX designs into responsive, high-performance components.Collaborate with educators and product managers to integrate custom web audio solutions that drive engaging learning experiences.Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability across different devices and browsers.Participate in team meetings to contribute to product architecture, design, and feature planning.

Required Skills

Strong expertise with React.js, Tone.js and the Web Audio API, including audio effects, synthesis, and MIDI integration.Proficient in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3.Understanding of modern web development practices, including responsive design and performance optimization.Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON.Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate with a distributed team.

Nice-to-Have

Experience with MERN stack development.Familiarity with other JavaScript libraries and frameworks.Interest or background in music production, sound design, or audio engineering.Knowledge of MIDI, audio file handling, and interactive music applications.
