Gleanin is a Community Marketing platform which helps event marketers create sell-out events. We're looking for an experienced Ruby on Rails developer to help accelerate our roadmap. This role will predominantly be developing our Ruby on Rails backed API. As we’re a small team you will also be expected to contribute to Javascript projects and possibly Vue, bringing a curiosity to learn with you.

PackageSalary: £40,000 - £45,0004 day week; Monday - ThursdayMacbook.Remote working (but must be commutable to London).Annual company retreat.

Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain Gleanin's API using Ruby on Rails.Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code and tests, following best practices and coding standards.Collaborate within the product team to design new features and functionality.Review pull requests for quality and correctness.Develop and maintain Javascript integrations with third party providersResolve service tickets.Develop a deep understanding of our product.Actively participate in 1:1s and Sprint meetings.Attend team meetings in London once per month (we pay travel).

Key RequirementsBased in the south east of the UK with full rights to work in the UK.At least 4 years of experience with Ruby on Rails development.Experience working with a large, production application.Confident using Git and Agile development methodologies.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Highly organised, pro-active and happy to work unsupervised.Team player who is comfortable working as part of a fully remote organisation.
