Power Platform Developer

Optomi, in partnership with a Fortune 100 health care organization, is seeking a highly skilled Power Platform and SharePoint Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, configuring, and maintaining solutions within the Power Platform and SharePoint platforms to meet business needs. Additionally, you will play a key role in analyzing business requirements, designing solutions, and providing support to ensure the effective utilization of the platform.

Responsibilities of the role:Responsible for designing, implementing, and managing solutions built on Microsoft Power PlatformDocument and develop changes for new, modified, adds, or deletes of functionality within the code structures of existing systemsEnsure and maintain compliance in coordination with the cybersecurity directivesIdentify and implement areas and processes where Power Platform and Microsoft 365 can be better leveraged and facilitate process improvement outputs will include data visualization and low code applicationsCreate and maintain custom dashboards, models, power app components, and integration with third-party services and external APIsHelp guide teams to effectively use the Microsoft Power Platform (Dynamics, Power Apps, Power Automate, Azure, and Azure SQL)Use various connectors to connect disparate systems to Power Platform applicationsMaintain application documentation to describe software components development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and correctionsCollects requirements and develops software fixes for software programs

Experience of the right candidate:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldMinimum of 3 years of experience working with Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint OnlinePossess a Microsoft Power Platform Developer Associate certificationProven track record of developing, deploying, and maintaining Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI solutionsExperience in SharePoint Online administration and developmentStrong understanding of application lifecycle management and software development best practicesAdditional certifications in Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint are highly desirableExpertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI for developing custom business applicationsProficient in designing and managing SharePoint Online sites, including site collections, lists, libraries, workflows, and permissionsStrong skills in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and familiarity with REST API and JSONExcellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail to troubleshoot and resolve technical issuesAbility to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersStrong documentation skills to create detailed technical specifications, user guides, and training materials
