Python Developer 20h/week (Trading project)

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Developer with experience in Big Data and Azure to join our team. You will contribute to our cutting-edge trading platform, working on performance optimization, data stream management, and new feature development. This is a part-time, remote role with a commitment of 20 hours per week.

Project scope:Setup scalability concept for HedgeX as a programmatic interface to estar, for different automated strategies or use casesDefine and develop automated interface between Evolio and estar, leveraging on HedgeX as interfaceCreate streaming service for e*star data, enabling HedgeX and other applications to consume live price dataImprove the UI, to provide more strategies and servicesExtend and implement additional execution strategies in HedgeX for power and gas

Responsibilties:Support the team by implementing kafka, manage big data and establish data streams for tradingStabilisation of performance and improve response time of the hedging toolThe development and implementation of further trading strategiesDevelop and implement KPIs to measure the trading performanceImprove and implement new features in the UI
