Responsibilities:Collaborate with product management to understand business requirements and plan products and featuresWork as part of a team to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve softwareAssist in providing technical leadership for the architecture, design, and implementation of Omnicell software solutionsAid in code reviews for fellow team members, as requiredCreate unit tests to help ensure code quality throughout the application’s life cycleAnalyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources once deployedContinue to improve code quality by tracking, reducing, and avoiding technical debtWork on production support tickets Required Skills:Significant experience building web-based applications (ASP.NET forms/MVC) and RESTful API’sExperience in any of the following areas:Deploying service oriented and microservices architecturesWorking experience with JavaScript Frameworks (Angular/jQuery)Deploying applications in the public cloud using technologies like AWS.Thoughtful about creating the right architecture.A can-do attitude and ability to make a positive impact on our culture.Understand agile and enjoy working in 2-week release cycles.Bachelor’s degree; may consider relevant experience in lieu of a degree5+ years’ experience in software engineering3+ years of experience building web-based applications5+ years of Experience in VB.Net/C# and the .NET Framework3+ years of experience in SQL on MS SQL Server Preferred Knowledge and Skills:Degree in Engineering/IT/Computer Science6 months+ experience in .Net Core3+ years of experience with a microservices architectureExperience with AWS GlueExperience with Microsoft SSRSExperience with VB.Net1+ years of experience in Angular 4 or aboveExperience with ASP.Net Forms1+ years of public cloud experience1+ year experience healthcare or pharmaceutical experience working with EDI interfaces such as 835(X12)
