We are seeking to hire a skilled Software Developer to help us with the development of our current projects. As part of our team, you will play an essential role in the innovation and creation process of Societe Generale software solutions that can reshape the digital world of tomorrow.

💻 What you will do:

·Develop, maintain, and optimize software applications using COBOL and Java.·Participate in requirements analysis and create technical specifications for new features and modules.·Contribute to the architectural and technical design of applications.·Collaborate with QA teams, technical support, and other development teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.·Investigate and resolve technical issues in applications, both in testing and production environments.·Actively participate in code reviews, optimizing, and refactoring existing code to improve performance and maintainability.·Provide technical support and training for other team members.

💡 REQUIRED PROFILE:

·Minimum 5 years of experience in software development.·Strong programming experience in COBOL (preferably on Mainframe platforms).·Good programming skills in Java (API).·Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., DB2, Oracle) and SQL.·Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).·Ability to write clean, testable, and efficient code.·Experience working with distributed teams and Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).·Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, attention to detail.·Good communication skills(FR/EN) and ability to work in a team.
