Postgresql Developer

Requirements:

3-5 yrs of experience in PostgreSQL RDBMS concepts.Proven experience as a PostgreSQL Developer or similar role.Programming experience in PostgreSQL database like writing queries, views, functions and procedures.Strong knowledge of SQL and database management.Good knowledge about performance tuning concepts.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Knowledge on aws environment is an added advantage.Knowledge on t-sql concepts is an added advantage.

Job duties and responsibilities:

Work with other team members to understand the requirements and build the solutionAnalyze the existing SQL Server database structure, including tables, views, indexes, and relationships.Convert data from SQL Server format to PostgreSQL format.Ensure data integrity by maintaining constraints.Document the migration process, including steps taken, challenges faced, and solutions implemented.Provide timely scheduled management reportingResolve and troubleshoot complex issues
