Web Developer (Remote from Poland)

We are seeking a skilled Web Developer to design, develop, and maintain dynamic and responsive websites. The ideal candidate will have experience with WordPress, Headless CMS (i.e. Contentful, Contentstack, strapi, directus, etc.), and the JAMstack approach, along with a passion for coding and a keen eye for detail. You will work closely with our design team to create seamless, high-performing web experiences.

Key Responsibilities:Develop responsive websites and web applications using WordPress, headless CMS, and the JAMstack approach.Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other developers to translate creative concepts into functional websites.Implement and manage headless CMS for content-rich websites and applications.Utilize static site generators (e.g., Gatsby, Next.js) in a JAMstack environment.Customize and extend WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific project requirements.Ensure high performance and availability of web applications.Optimize websites for maximum speed and scalability.Conduct website performance tests and debugging.Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends and best practices.

Requirements:Proven experience as a Web Developer or similar role.Experience with headless CMS platforms.Strong understanding of the JAMstack architecture and experience with static site generators (e.g., Gatsby, Next.js).Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, and ReactFamiliarity with build tools and version control systems (e.g., Webpack, Git).Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:Experience with serverless functions and APIs.Knowledge of SEO best practices.Familiarity with web accessibility standards.Previous experience in a digital agency environment.
