Senior Blockchain Developer (Freelance, Remote)

Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced freelance Senior Blockchain Developer to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of blockchain technologies, including smart contracts, decentralized applications (DApps), and cryptographic protocols. As a freelancer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying blockchain-based solutions on a project-by-project basis, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of blockchain projects.Key Responsibilities:Design and implement blockchain solutions, including smart contracts and DApps.Develop and maintain distributed ledger technologies (DLT) in a secure, scalable, and efficient manner.Ensure the security and integrity of blockchain-based applications and transactions.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define project requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.Optimize and enhance the performance of blockchain solutions.Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance when needed.Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in blockchain technology.Required Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience (5+ years) in blockchain development, with a focus on smart contract creation and deployment.Proficiency in blockchain platforms such as Ethereum, Hyperledger, Binance Smart Chain, or similar.Strong programming skills in languages like Solidity, JavaScript, Python, Go, or Rust.Experience with cryptography, consensus algorithms, and decentralized technologies.Familiarity with tools such as Truffle, Hardhat, or Ganache.Understanding of token standards (e.g., ERC-20, ERC-721) and experience with NFTs.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a distributed team.Excellent communication and documentation skills.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Layer 2 solutions, DeFi protocols, and Web3 development.Familiarity with cloud platforms and services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Experience with blockchain security audits and penetration testing.Benefits of Freelancing with Us:Flexible working hours and fully remote.Competitive compensation on a project-by-project basis.Opportunities for continued collaboration on future projects.Access to a collaborative, skilled global team.
