What we’re looking forAs a key early member of the team at Clearbrief.ai, you’ll be building the future of the justice system from the ground up. Working closely with our Head of Frontend, CTO, CEO and the other members of the Clearbrief team you will play an important role in developing and delivering Clearbrief’s product.Don’t worry if you don’t have expertise across every single one of the areas listed below. Job DescriptionAs a Senior Frontend developer, you will work closely with the CTO and the rest of the Clearbrief team to:Learn about the product features we are seeking to build and improve, and lead specific projects to develop, optimize, and maintain our website, web application, and Microsoft Add-In (using React, Typescript, NEXT.js, Figma, Python, and other technologies); Create front-end experiences that are consistent across all supported browsers and platforms, ensuring the code is clean, properly structured and compatible with major browsers;Attend daily scrum meetings, as well as weekly broader team meetings to understand how your code integrates with the larger product and the features others are working on. You will also have regular opportunities to meet with lawyers, judges and other justice system stakeholders to get feedback on the tools you are building;Understand back end considerations that connect with the front end work, including performance, security, privacy, and accessibility requirements;Communicate with internal and external users about the product and incorporate feedback into product enhancements;Author documentation and support articles across the user journey; andCollaborate and communicate with colleagues with positivity and kindness
Qualifications5+ years of front-end experience with deep understanding of React, Typescript, NEXT.js, Figma, Python, CSS and other modern web technologies and techniques5+ years of experience in software development for cloud-based solutionsExperience in leading front-end development efforts in a startup environmentEmphasis on creating single-page apps that talk to various HTTP web servicesProficiency with design and prototyping tools like Figma is highly desirableCreativity, tenacity, and attention to detailStrong ability to communicate effectively with Product team in order to translate requirements into working softwareAbility to work with customers and translate their feedback to improve and enhance the tools you are buildingBachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science or equivalent experience
