Java - Big Data Developer

Long Term Contract with an enterprise client having global presence.Fully remote to work in EST zone.

Big Data Engineering team focuses on supporting financial reporting for its clients. The team ensures that large volumes of transaction data are processed, reconciled, and delivered as accurate and timely reports. These reports include daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial data, which are critical for reconciling balances and ensuring accurate money transfers.

What we absolutely need:Experience 4+ years.Proficiency in the Java programming language.Strong understanding of Big Data technologies.Ability to debug and monitor existing data pipelines.Skill in reverse engineering to identify root causes.Production-grade experience with Spark, Hive, MapReduce (EMR) framework, Airflow, and SQL.Experience with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS).Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate with technical design teams.Strong desire to learn, push the envelope, and hit the ground running.Experience in designing data pipelines is a plus.
