Front-end Software Developer

Description

The Transportation Solutions division within the Leidos Health & Civil group is seeking an experienced Front-end Software Developer capable of supporting internal research projects and eventually the Federal Aviation Administration’s Enterprise Information Display System (EIDS) program.

The position requires strong technical skills in order to participate in a multi-skilled, complex, technical team of individuals as a Scrum Team Member. Additionally, excellent communication, team participation and prioritization skills, as well as the ability to be flexible and responsive in a fast-paced environment are needed. The candidate will be expected to work effectively with other Team Members, coordinating with the Scrum Master, Product Owner, Systems Engineers, and other development teams.

Candidate must be able to obtain an SF-85P Public Trust clearance from the FAA customer. Due to contract requirements, the position requires U.S. Citizenship.

Primary Responsibilities

Frontend coding, documenting, managing configuration, testing, and bug-fixing involved in creating and maintaining applications and frameworks involved in a software development life cycle and resulting in a software productWork with team members to meet both sprint commitments and milestones.Contribute to the team's design, development, documentation and testing of enhancements to the systemParticipate fully in the Scrum team activities (Planning, Retrospective, & Review/Demo)Resolve critical issues on the operational system when necessary

What Sets You Apart

Bachelor’s Degree in related engineering discipline and at least 2 years relevant experience andEducation or experience using the following technologies: Angular, Git, Linux, MicroservicesShould have Agile experience/knowledge of key agile techniquesU.S. CitizenshipMust be able to obtain SF-85P Public Trust clearance

Pay Range

Pay Range $65,000.00 - $117,500.00
