Role: Fullstack - React Developer/ Node.JS

(Cloud platform - Azure/AWS/ GCP)

Location: Pittsburgh, PA - REMOTE - candidate must be in EST zone.

Duration: 6+ months

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications using React on the frontend and Node.js with PostgreSQL on the backend. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical sClientifications. Work closely with the Cloud Ops team to ensure seamless deployment and management of applications in a cloud environment. Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization to ensure efficient and reliable application delivery. Implement best practices for software development, including using design patterns, documentation, and version control systems. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies related to front-end and back-end development, cloud computing, and software engineering.

Required Skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Fullstack Software Engineer. Extensive experience with React for frontend development, including component-based architecture and state management. Proficiency in Node.js and server-side frameworks for building scalable and secure backend systems. Strong working knowledge of PostgreSQL Demonstrated understanding of cloud computing principles, particularly in relation to deployment and operations.Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is REQUIRED. Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration frameworks like Kubernetes is also required. Solid understanding of software development best practices, including agile methodologies, unit testing, and code reviews.
