The Team
We are the Native Identity team in the Payments organization. The team is looking for a Senior Android developer to join a small team of engineers working on features that enable millions of users to securely sign-in and register on the eBay Android application. You'll be working with an elite team of engineers, designers, and product managers to build outstanding new features on one of the world's most visited e-commerce sites.

Job Requirements
10+ years of experience developing Android applications, with deep experience in both Kotlin and JavaDemonstrable proficiency in MVVM, Kotlin co-routines and multi-processing, flow, dependency injection, data binding, jetpack compose, fragments, app linking, shared preferences and restful web service client architecture and integration. The ideal candidate will also have experience with cryptography including key store, TEE and play services Integrity API.Proficient in Android Studio, network debugging (e.g. Charles Proxy), revision control systems (e.g. Git), unit testing and mocking, and bug tracking (e.g. Jira)Experience with deep linking, app notifications, webviews, preferences manager, passkey manager, biometric manager, preferences manager, etc.Familiarity with OAuth2, JWT, multi-factor authentication, FIDO, FIDO2 and SSOExcellent understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures and algorithms.Solid understanding of the general mobile landscape, architecture, trends, and new technologiesEnsure code quality and maintainability by evolving architecture and tech stack, refactoring, standards and improving build and test systemsParticipate in sprint meetings, code reviews, UI design reviews and other feature related meetings.Evangelize, mentor, and promote mobile development standard methodologies throughout the companyProvide scope on proposed features and bug fixes. This includes estimation of effort, risk identification and mitigation, possible alternate solutions.
