Drupal Developer

We are looking for a Senior Drupal Developer who will be responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining robust Drupal-based solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Drupal’s API, theming layer, and module development, along with experience in leading development teams and mentoring junior developers.

Key Responsibilities:Lead the design, development, and maintenance of Drupal websites and web applications.Create custom modules, templates, and themes based on project specifications.Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to junior developers.Ensure adherence to Drupal best practices, security standards, and coding guidelines.Integrate Drupal with third-party APIs and external services.Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize website performance and scalability.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Drupal core, contributed modules, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).5+ years of experience with Drupal development, including custom module and theme creation.Expertise in Drupal 8/9, and familiarity with migrating to Drupal 10.Strong understanding of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.Proficiency in Git, Composer, and Drush.Experience working with RESTful services and APIs.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus.

Preferred Skills:Experience with Drupal distributions such as Acquia, Pantheon, or similar.Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.Familiarity with Docker or other containerization technologies.Experience with cloud-based hosting solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
